There are a lot of ways to make your 1:18 cars look more realistic and some of you guys are real magicians with what you can do with a camera and Photoshop. my thing is to customize my cars if I think I can get it to look more like the actual car

One way is to upgrade parts

For me the most important feature on a model besides getting the shape correct is to get the wheels correct - this is particularly true with wire wheels

Case in point - this Bburago Ferrari 250LM

Correct!  I've said it more times than I can count....   Wheels can make or break any model!     I've improved/augmented/replaced countless wheel sets.
