MCC Duesenberg and Signature '30 Packard Boatail?
Any news on these models? Did I miss the Motor City Classic's 1933 green Duesenberg or hasn't it come out yet? Also, what is the Signature Packard Boatail? It's listed for a December 2004 release.....Am very excited to know about this one.....
Thanks for any info.
Patty
Signature Packard Boatail.....
Thanks, John, for the info on the Duesey. I knew I could count on a fellow Pre-War Iron collector. I was planning on getting one to compliment my Clark Gable SJ roadster and wanted to compare the Signature black and green one to MCC's green one....Guess there is only once choice now...
Scale18 has a 1930 Packard Boatail listed in their "Future Release" by Signature in December 2004. Hmmm, maybe we can ask Kevin Pickell about the info.....
One more thing, and you may or may not know this, but I saw a solid black '34 Duesey being offered on eBay. I can only find references to the black and green, but the solid black looks stunning and I would prefer it, but this seller from Germany is asking $100 for a Signature model! Are you aware of a solid black Signature 34 Duesey?
Thanks again, John.

1930 Packard now available at...
MTR (diecastmuscle.com) It is from Signature. It's on their front page.
Oh, okay. Looks like Signature is going to release a 41' Packard
In black. I saw it at tomctoys.com. It says it's due this month.
That one looks terrific, Ted…
I pre-ordered it from MTR a couple of weeks ago.
Signature has released some of their models without any fanfare in the past. They just show up out of the blue and on selected retailer's shelves; the mysterious Packard (hope it is the brilliant 734 speedster) boat tail may be one of them. The all black Duesenberg (not the two-tone black and green and or green and silver) from Germany maybe an early release (a few of the models out there on e-bay are custom repaints). Let's hope these classics sell well, there are so many more to do. Can we say 'Hispano', 'Arrow', Bugatti, Marmon, Kissel, or the magnificent Dobble (steam) .....oh, wouldn't it be nice if some one could out do Franklin Mint's 1/24 1929 Bentley blower in 1/18 (in my opinion one of Franklin Mint's best models).
Eventhough there are already two Delahayes out there in 1/18 it would be nice to see a 1949 type 175 two door fastback coupe in two tone. Hey, where are the Rolls Royces? I WANT THEM AND I WANT THEM RIGHT NOW!
