That's a substantial collection of scale Model T's ! They all look great and helped show the remarkable versatility and ubiquitous nature of this Ford.

Without question.... slightly over 15 million Ford Model Ts were manufactured-AND-prices systematically DECREADED year after year. Just an incredible feat of manufacturing for an essentially bullet-proof vehicle that virtually anyone could fix.
@marty-johnson These models were (are ) so cool. Even that vintage box art is cool! 😎 😎
Despite building hundreds of 1/25 models in my youth, I never considered these "giants"Â ONLY because of their size & zero possibility of customization. Afterall, where on earth could I find other 1/8 parts?
More great Model T versions ! These all look excellent and really demonstrate the amazing versatility of this vehicle. Probably every model-makers and several diecast companies in different scales have done some version of this one.
@mikedetorrice ...very true. I have "Ts" in other scales too.
@rich-sufficool I agree completely, I had to have it! The included (opening & lined ) gray casket & rolling church-crutch are also nicely done.Â
Three things always struck me about this model aside from the weight (it's heavier than one might think ): 1) The headlights are nicely replicated. 2) There's an actual 1:1. 3) That "short"Â windshield (which I initially thought was an error ) is actually quite correct. In a time without A/C or electrically directed airflow... fresh air ventilation on any hearse was a Godsend!Â
@fpaquet - Yes, many moons ago, I built the Big T and the Big Rod. And many, many more moons ago (I was a kid) I built the Big T, Big Rod, and Big Drag. A few years ago, I started on the Big T Street Rod and fashioned operating headlights and taillamp but it sits in a box unfinished. The only model that I never built was the Big Tub. I have all of these versions, unbuilt, in boxes.
@chris - The 1:8 scale "Giants" creates display space issues, for sure. There is a pretty robust aftermarket for parts for these large-scale models. I think you might be surprised how vibrant that market is.

Yes, NOW there's a ton aftermarket, resin "stuff," but NOT when I was kid, lusting after these while looking UP at them on the shelves of K-mart,  Sears, & hobby stores.
..and yes, SPACE is also an issue. I love some of these LARGE scale models but I would literally need to build another house to store/display them. 🙄 🙄Â
