@chris - And speakin' of big scales, I've either sold or moved all of my 1:8 scale models to the garage or closets.  Like you, I literally have no space for them.  Still, I recently acquired two Pocher Lotus 72D Formula 1 racecars and I have two LeGrand Mercedes 300 SLR Uhlenhaut 900+ piece cars coming.  Both in 1:8 scale!  Yes, they're unbuilt and I have no plans to do anything with 'em.  I'm just gonna sit on them for a while and probably sell them as the prices appreciate.

@marty-johnson Outstanding and shrewd!

Like I've said many times, that's the best way to get these high-end models.  Buy TWO high-end Exotos, for example, then sit on one until it appreciates to cover the cost of both, sell it, then BAHM!  ...Free model! 😏 😏

But to buy TWO and SELL TWO....  now that's going to take real willpower!

That 900 + piece Gullwing is spectacular!

@chris - Yeah, it does take willpower.  I tried selling two DeAgostini 1:10 Ferraris I have and I couldn't do it!  They both are unbuilt.  Just handling and seeing the pieces convinced me I wasn't done with 'em yet.  I have a real sickness.
