@chris for me it is wild as I usually never buy American vehicles unless they are Ram 1500's...
Those are sweet Ben. 💯👍
@geno I really need to slow down as it's starting to become overwhelming space wise..
@chris I agree, it’s unhealthy to lick model cars! As for foreign cars, decades ago I owned a VW Karman Ghia, a ‘Bug’, and a couple of German Opel’s, a GT and a 1900 Manta. I really enjoyed those cars and they were very dependable. I’ve never owned or wanted to own an Asian car as none have interested me personally.
@chris Go ahead, Chris step into the dark side...give it a go. Once you sit in a decent Mercedes of any year, your bottom will be very appreciative. Hell, take a smaller step and try a Volvo. The one thing you probably shouldn't do is take a Bentley of any year out for a test drive. You won't want anything else, after that. The first time I took a a 1980 Bentley T2 out for a test drive I had to ask myself how they knew the exact position the steering wheel should be for me. Everything was perfect, and the ride... well...
@gdh I appreciate all that, but I doubt that day will ever come. I know you won't believe this but between me and my best friend (who passed last year ) we've owned over 400 cars. He had the bulk of them and all but five were not American (two Mazdas, two Mercedes, one BMW ). A Rolls Royce would be something - just to say I'm driving "the best." - As we know, American cars have improved greatly but with exception of a few.....they're not "the best." 😔
Wait a minute! What's all this talk about it being unhealthy to lick model cars! If that's true, that might answer some unanswered questions about my blood tests!
