New Hamilton Collection 1:18 Scale Resin 1967 Corvette Stingray...

I was intrigued by the brochure that arrived and placed an order since there is no risk and returns are easy. Yes, Hamilton Collection is part of Bradford Group who has offered resin sculpted cars in the recent past. But they were poorly executed and had some very poor finishing and proportions. So I was worried this would be the same...but it looked better in the ad. It arrived today and is quite nice. There will be some who don't like the chassis and a few details but this is a sculptural resin car. However I would say its a precision sculpture. The details and body are precision quality. Smooth, glossy finish, nice proportions. Full window glass and nice interior. Outstanding quality and display shelf presence. It would be right at home among your 1:18 diecast models on the shelf. I am pleased and its a keeper. I hope they do some more images in this technique. (In the pic of the chassis the tires look bent outward...they are perfectly in line and this is just a photo illusion)
