@modeldadeeee That's funny!   Allow me to explain....     

In some ways I'm like Jay Leno  in that he purchased MANY of his cars decades ago when they really weren't worth much.... they were just used cars sitting on the street  that he acquired for a few hundred or a few thousand dollars.  😏 

"Time"  makes most things valuable, and of course today, those same cars are worth tens of thousands, if not millions.  😉 

When I saw your Sun Star Lincoln pics, I thought, "Gee that looks familiar..."      😀 😀 

I bought that Motor City  Lincoln decades ago for probably no more than $25.     When they folded, Sun Star purchased their tooling and began re-issuing their 1/18 models - this latest livery is the most colorful yet.  😊 

It's a fine Lincoln replica Ben; I'm sure you'll love it!

@chris oh wow how about that lol. A friend sent a photo of it to me as she thought it was " pretty " and unique. Me I just want diversity in my displays, even if it looks like I favor particular ones.

@modeldadeeee I gotcha....          At the time, I was collecting real 1:1 Lincolns and was a proud member of the LCOC (Lincoln Continental Owners Club ) so this 1/18 1932 beauty was a no-brainer.  Honestly though, I really liked how it looked - especially that REAL canvas convertible top, and imposing stance.   

It's hard to imagine, but I've probably have NOT had that car out of its showcase in close to 20 years.

@chris you knows crazy, at one point to me 20 years would seem like I was still in diapers. Of course add another 40 to that.🫣
