This must be a blast to watch.... match racing vintage 1960s drag cars. The Nostalgia Super Stock Club includes even FX and AWB cars and have been holding multiple yearly events since the '80s. This is Texan Dick Bell's 1963 427 Ford "Texas Thunder" relying heavily on venerable Tasca Ford's OEM parts and accessories. It appears that the car is street legal too needing only muffled exhaust extensions. Where else would you find a car like this if not in Texas. I like the signage on the back bumper that reads: "We Don't Care How Ya'll Do It Up North". Check out the club's web site. It's just loaded with cars of the types I remember fondly.
Very cool....and I LOVE that yellow bubble top Chevy.
I remember this model....very cool, but I've never seen any real nice close-up pics. Thanks Rich, it looks great. 😎 😎
It looks great ! Is this a SunStar 1/18 1963 Ford diecast replica ?
I was checking out their site and recognize some of the cars. They were at a drag strip north of KCMO on I-35 around 2015.
