I always loved this generation of the Chrysler Imperial. And, of course there was the '66' Green Hornet car. I was chasing a tudor Imperial coupe but never could pull the trigger, I just saw the '64 Presidential limo, a Crown LeBaron Ghia that was used by Jackie Kennedy and LBJ. If I could afford it, I'd love to have that monster in my driveway (it couldn't fit in the garage. LOL)
Of course, I thought this was a 1/18th for the first 5 seconds..... 😔 😔
- Yes, a great car AND history. The fact that all those little dents in the rear bumper were never repaired makes me think they occurred "recently."
Being so easy to back-up, I just can't imagine how they could get there.. ?? 😬 😏 😏
That's a huge and really attractive automobile. This generation of the Imperial would make a fine 1/18 diecast model. When I was a kid I had a 1/24 styrene plastic model kit of this one.
That Imperial in 1:18 scale would display quite nicely in one of my cabinets, which I have absolutely no room for. 😎 If we ever did see it, without a doubt, it will be resin and not diecast.
