Great model by H-61 now 21 years old. Unlike Franklin Mint, they paid to licence the "Smokey's" livery which FM had to delete.

Great pics Rich! Gotta love  that scale all metal Hudson frame!

ALL of HW61's Hudson race cars were (are ) terrific! I have several. Years ago, I got a chance to actually sit in (but not drive ) the Hudson Herb Thomas drove (#92 ). Pretty cool! 😎

On #92, I noticed (and I was told ) that the steelie rims were reinforced with a second steelie center welded on top...like a double-stacked steelie center. This is one detail neither FM nor HW61 replicated.
