How could I not? Here's my all tine favorite, the one and only (literally) the XJ13. I won't bother with a narrative on Malcolm Sayer's masterpiece, so here's the pics:
Your photos just totally blow mine out of the water lol. I need to ship my vehicles to you for you to take quality ones of.👍🏿👍🏿
@modeldadeeee I remember the first time I saw this model at a show. It was sitting half buried in its lower clamshell of Styrofoam. Honestly I had no idea what it was, but it was so beautiful, I had to buy it.
Thank you Rich. This is an awesome model which thankfully I have the AutoArt 1/18 on prominent display. Love your photography of this one. Development of this car took too long and by the time it was ready, LeMans rules no longer allowed it, and yes, it was that V12 later used in the XJS and the 1988 XJR-9 that disqualified it from LeMans as too large a displacement. I would have loved to see it in competition.
The original which was a one off, was destroyed in an accident while Malcolm Sayer was driving, then rebuild years later but not quite as original. A couple of replicas with extended wheel wells were later built. This is a beautiful race car that has few equals in looks.
Rich, I appreciate your special efforts on my behalf.
