One of my favorite models, it took two manufactures
BBR and Kyosho, with a nod to Mattel to create this Ferrari BB512 in racing form but no livery. Fit and finish are superb and stance is right on. Everything opens and the details are over the top. Take a look.

No sir, on the box it says this was a joint effort by Kyosho and BBR (both names are on the box) and states it was under license by Mattel who authorized it. I was confused too!

I checked the box, BBR listed as the builder and
Kyosho listed as the distributor and Kyosho says thanks to Mattel for the licensing. It is metal and everything opens.

I just bought one of these on eBay last week: no livery, but it does have roundels .
Now, seeing your pictures, it is going to be even harder to wait for it to arrive! Thanks for teasing me Josh!

Sadly the real BB512 was not as fast as it looked.
In the late 80s or early 90s I was selling Ferraris and the importer brought one up to Elkhart Lake and entered it which he shouldn't have done. It didn't have a prayer on the track. Nope, I'm wrong. It was the F-40. But sadly not geared for the track. A dud. Forgive me for maligning the BB.
