paint job question hey guys I just bought a Camaro kit where the word Camaro (emblem) is part of the body (not a decal) - hoping to paint the body matt black - any body have experience out there who has painted emblems that are not decals ?
want to paint the emblem silver over the matt black body

A steady hand, a magnifier of some sort (if needed), a "1" or "0" or "00" fine point brush and a good quality hobby paint in chrome silver. I use Sharpie oil-based paint markers (silver) for the paint. They take longer to dry but shine more like chrome.
Practice first on a junk model if possible.
