I like the car but LOVE the detailing of the model. Great photos Frank!
I'm pretty sure there is the real one on display at the Simeone Foundation Museum in Philadelphia.
@old-caddys The last I looked they didn't have one but that would never stop me from going their to see their other cars.
(@franklemire) you are probably right Frank. It's been 10 years or more since I was last at the museum, I think there is a car very similar to this particular Alfa Romeo there or at least there used to be.
@old-caddys It could be there, just not as part of the permanent collection. A lot of the car museums I've been to have cars that are actually 'on loan' from their owners who do not have display space for them. A few cars at the Shelby Museum in Boulder Colorado, for example, have cars on display that are actually part of the Larry Miller collection that is in Utah. I seem to remember seeing a Porsche 917 at Simeone but that is not listed as part of their collection either.
@perrone1 As I said AutoArt at its finest. It is at a level with Exoto, CMC and BBR but sold at better prices. It is a shame that the economics of manufacture have so changed that models of this level have gotten too expensive for most of us and caused manufacturers to scale back or move to sealed resin models to stay alive.

Back in the day, I did quite a few reviews for AUTOart. I often noted that their models were a good value based on the nice balance of detailing to detail/features. The level of fine detailing has hit that 'precision' level but the price now reflects that.
