Maybe Jim Thoren can get still get the..........

"Swinging Pam" graphics applied. That IS the design that was the one the fans remembered the most.
BTW, this is a very impressive series that Supercar1 is doing.

Subtle is not a word to use in any context regarding "Jungle Pam"!

First, Supercar Collectibles is not the ones doing these 1:18 funny cars. We did bring them up and suggest them many many years ago (to RC2/Ertl) but this is an AutoWorld project. We handle them, have sold a LOT of them, but it's not our project. As far as 85% correct (should I even go here?) some have said it needs the grille painted/decaled in. I know some are joking around, but to address this seriously, our site shows the car was ran the exact way it's pictured (paint/lettering). Race cars could and did change decals, sponsors, and graphics almost weekly during any race season... so even though you/anyone/everyone may have a photo of this car "different" than AW, that doesn't mean it was not raced "this way". Oh, and have a NICE holiday season. Really. And where ever you may purchase your cars from, I suggest getting THIS car reserved in advance. Or have fun finding it a few months after release....?

Jim, I'm sure glad you follow this board.......

Your input is really valuable.

For those of you that might not know by now (all one of you), Jim Thoren and Scott Dahlberg run SuperCar Collectibles, a diecast retailer and sorta' manufacturer in Maple Grove, MN and are the guys behind a lot of wonderful cars, most recently the great series of Altered Wheelbase Dodges and Plymouths.

Although they carry a lot of diecasts, their specialty is Muscle and drag cars and they sell their cars to other retailers, I believe, Legacy being one. He is a true "hobby insider" and a wealth of knowledge.

Jim, I must say two quick things: 1) THANK YOU for your comments; glad to see you....

..."stay in touch."

-AND-

2) Marlowe & I made remarks regarding "85%" yet THEY HAD NOTHING to do with Super Cars, Auto World or these nicely done 1/4 mile Series models. The "85% stuff" is all an inside joke between us.

Agian, sorry you had to answer a question/comment no one asked. (For the record, ALL of us know that race cars change almost daily).

Regards,
-Chris

No problem Chris. I figured so (85%) but wanted to be sure.

And maybe everyone HERE knows race cars do change often, not everyone knows... believe me...
