There are lots of terrific accessories for placing alongside a diecast car, ranging from gas pumps to figures and from scale signs to actual dioramas. Here is a very simple one which is the 1/18th figure of Francis, a mid-century gal enjoying the weather and her wonderful scale car ... a 1961 Chrysler Imperial (from Yat Ming). Lucky girl !

Francis 368 3

Yep!  1/18 figures and accessories were once extremely scarce, then a cottage industry sprung up....which has since morphed into a full-blown production effort including the thousands of resin-casters that market everything from tools to towns!

There must be a million  different figures available now... and I think I have half of them....  including Francis's sister! 😀

She looks great in that green dress ! I wish I still had a fine looking 1948 Chrysler to display with her sister, but sadly it got some diecast corrosion. The various scale figures don't generally suffer from that, as many are from something like resin, plastic, fiberglass, epoxy, green putty, etc.
