The Picassa 3 editing and collating program for photos was unceremoniously dropped which leaves me and my 9 million pics in the lurch. Google Photos seems to be a replacement but unlike Picassa 3 which was a simple download and go, I can't seem to figure out how to install it. I just get pieces of things I don't understand. I also can't see what the capabilities are for editing. What do you guys use for cropping and enhancing?

1) - I'll send my grandkids (10 & 12 ) over to your house; they'll have you "up & running"  in minutes. 😀 😀

2) - Geez, I guess I'm a dinosaur (well, I know I am ) I just use MS "PAINT"  and/or complete editing on my phone.

I'm sorry to hear this bad news Rich - it really SUCKS when something you're so familiar with abruptly vanishes.  I can relate!  😠 😲 😠

I use Photoshop to edit my photos.  However, I'm certain you can use Microsoft Photos for simple editing.  Your photos would be stored either on your computer or in The Cloud with the Microsoft 365 program.

I use the editing capabilities in my iPhone16.  It’s cropping, light adjustment, and clean-up work fine for me.

@chris I use Paint to remove unwanted reflections and dust or pollen on the model.
