Red of course!
Well, if British racing green is out then it might as well be Italian Rosso!
GREEN, GREEN, BRG and Jaguar just belong together, yes.
(PIC) John, you could re-paint to match this-and-a red interior (as this has) would look sharp! ...
Also, post pic of your progress; we'd love to see them. Can't wait to see just how you tackle those wheels. A few years back I perfectly re-spoked (IN SCALE) one rim from my Motor City's 1931 Ford PU (which has OK rims until you view them from the side..LOL)
It looked great (I posted pics) ...but MAN did that take forever! To date, I've only done that one.

Chris, now were talking. I should have said.....
I kinda didn't want to go Red and absolutely NOT BRG, lol. I am all about the Red interior so at this point it would be this color or Cr?me but that is a rather boring color.
As far as the wheels.....its going to be a major project I think. I will need to section the wheel twice meaning I need to buy some tool (saw) because I gave them all away when I sold CDR. But, I have always hated these wheels so I'm on a mission. More to come !
I'm sure you're well aware that BBR allegedly sells wire wheel sets for $26.00
Actually, that price seems awfully low for metal wire wheels but...
There has never been an E Type paint colour called Crème!
Come on, this is a British car through and through.
Why would it adopt a pretentious French name for a paint colour that has a perfectly adequate English name?
From 1961 to 1969 Cream was available as a body colour and from 1970 till its demise Old English White was available.
I'd like to see it in silver!
Great John! Can't wait to inspect, Oh I mean....."monitor" the progress! LOL
Actually Marlowe, I was unaware of these. I may have to get a set...just to have them! Thanks.
