For 1955, Chevrolet had a beautiful automobile that was available with the great Chevrolet small-block V-8 engine. My Dad had a new '55 Bel Air in coral and grey. Here are some 1/18 diecasts of the 1955 Chevy : 2 Ertl's (a convertible and a coupe) and a Maisto 1955 Nomad in red/cream.

Nice pics of various '55's Mike; I especially like that one in B&W.    After almost 4 decades of collectable 1/18 diecasts, as I've mentioned previously, never has any high-end, tri-five, 2-dr hardtops or convertibles been produced.    How's that possible?    🙄 😯

As always Mike - your pics are fantastic! My Uncle Joe McKenna bought a brand new 55 Chevy in turquoise and he kept until the day he passed. That car was seen in every family affair and outing we ever had. Such a familiar face.
