This 1/18 diecast is a kit from Ertl's "Body Shop" series in which you assemble the pre-painted model vehicle yourself. The 1957 Chevrolet truck was a great-looking pickup that included some styling touches from the General Motors automobile line up.

Not a bad model, it's pretty accurate with very nice chassis detail too. I always thought this replica was among the few that Ertl could've (but never did ) up-dateded/re-tooled for their HW 61, or Authentics line.

Nice set of photos Mike. With unusual looking jet and the runway theme with mountains surrounding, I wonder how you got into Area 51?

Lol, of I ever got into Area 51 it would likely be on arrest for trespassing on government land ! The plane in the air is a model of the prototype Martin Seamaster 4-jet seaplane attack/bomber/mine layer aircraft.
