This is a 1/18 diecast replica I got many years ago of the 1960 Chevrolet Impala convertible by Welly. It was a very inexpensive model but I like it. Since this is supposed to be an enjoyable/relaxing hobby and not really a contest, I will wait until a new, higher-end diecast of this one might be released in 2034, lol !

I've not seen this model before. Looks pretty good, excellent in white. Love the photos.

Thanks ! It was very inexpensive and although certainly not meant as a "precision" diecast by any means, I felt it was a step beyond my even less expensive MotorMax convertible version of the '60 Impala which this replaced.

Over the years, my Dad and our family had about 5 different full-size Chevys ..... a 1953, 1955, 1958, 1974 and 1975. I liked them all, although I was still zero years old when Dad got the '53, lol ! Smile

Mike makes this Welly model look much better than it really is.   Many years ago, I crafted a few up-grades/adjustments - it helped a little, but....  🙄 🙄 🙄

Mike, your photography of models always took my breath away! This model looks like a million bucks, and in many of the shots, it looks like the real thing, my friend. Please post as many of your photos as possible. Pretty please?

Thank you, Patty, and you are very kind ! It certainly is a compliment coming from a photographer like yourself.
