This is SunStar's extremely well-done Ford Thunderbird for 1960 in both convertible and hardtop form. Although done many years ago, they are nearly at the Platinum Series of detail level and really display the lines of the personal luxury automobile really well.

Now this was a time when cars had unique designs and weren't all cookie cutter copies of each other.

A very nice, close-to-Platinum-level release. It would've been great if Sunstar had taken this to the next level and offered a sun-roof for the coupe and an up-top for the convertible, but still....very cool as is. Nice pics!

Excellent pictures Mike. I agree these model are really nice. Chris, it would have been neat to have the sunroof and top up version too. Fortunately for me, DM did the sunroof which I have in 1/24 scale.

It is a really great- looking Thunderbird aka "squarebird". Any and all versions of this one are excellent to have in a collection : 1/18, 1/24, 1/43, 1/64.
