Hot Wheels did a really nice edition of the Chevrolet Impala SS for 1965. This one was done up in resto-mod style with modern-style wheels and hubs. It's in a bright shade gleaming red with a bucket seat interior and red/white eye-catching colors there, too.

These are nice. I always wanted to "enhance" one but never got around to it. I figured I could kit-bash this with Ertl's 1966 Chevy sedan.

Ertl's terrific 1/18 '66 Biscayne sedan might make a really good diecast to use with this one. A production coupe (or convertible) 1965 Impala SS seemed a natural for Ertl (and now AutoWorld).
