This is a gleaming black 1/18 diecast replica of the powerful and good-looking 1965 Pontiac GTO. It was not an expensive diecast but it was even lower in cost at a Sam's Club holiday sale from a number of years ago. I also have a light purple convertible version from Maisto, too.

Looks fantastic in black and your dark treatment of each shot lends a dramatic feel to each! Nicely done!!

From the beginning, and for a number of  years after, the Pontiac GTO was a real standard for a true American muscle car !

Some great shots Mike.  My only Maisto GTO is a blue convertible with a white interior.

Thanks ! It is a great-looking real car and diecast model of it. My Maisto 1965 convertible Pontiac GTO is a pale red/pink version. I believe that may be a 389 cid V-8 with three 2-barrels under the hood, but I am not sure. In any style or configuration, 1965 GTOs look excellent.
