(Pics) 1967 Shelby GT500 by Solido
Received this a couple of days ago, this is definitely my favourite model year of the Shelby Mustang. It's obviously not a high grade model as can be seen through some of its finer details, nor does it have an engine in there (so the hood and trunk aren't operable either). However, the proportions are spot on, the detailing is pretty good, and at only 40 Euro it's much better than many models in that price range often are.
I did do a small bit of detailing on the body here and there (the hood and trunk lines, the scoop beside the door, as well as the wheels) to give a bit more dimension to the car, but otherwise this is as it came from the box. Really, can't say all too much negative of this very solid(o) Shelby, and at that price point I couldn't resist getting it. There's also a red one with white stripes available.

OK, it's a 1/18 Solido. Doors open, hood & trunk do not.
