@mikedetorrice I believe that would still be a point of contention, for even with a misspell the brand name would be recognizable thereby establishing at least the intent to infringe on the manufacturer's copyright.

True, "implied, intent, and blatant" are all cause for legal recourse - doesn't mean every case will be won - but there is cause for action.
Recall when Jeep sued Hummer for styling a "Jeep-like" seven slot vertical grill?
Misspelled words, upside-down scripts, goofed emblems, etc., are, IMO, nothing more than sloppy production and/or poor research.
Take Siganture's 1/18 '37 Buick: Is it truly a Buick "Speciul?" 🙄 😯 🙄

@chris I bought that Barracuda way back when also. I was just in love with MOPAR's Turbine Bronze and the fact it was also the Formula S variant.
