Here are a couple of 1970 - 1971 1/18 Plymouth Barracudas I have. The green '70 is a Highway 61 release and the white one is a standard Ertl diecast of the '71 version. They are both exceptionally well-done, although the later and more expensive H61 '70 has considerably more detail. I got my H61 1970 during an on-line $5 sale, so I am delighted !
For $5 i’d be in ‘cuda Heaven 😇
Absolutely ! Many of us collectors/hobby people were in 1/18 heaven.
I will always regret missing that sale.
Showroom / glamor shots! Beautiful Mike!!
Thanks ! For $5 it was/is virtually impossible to go wrong.
....yep, I remember that $5 sale; the two I picked up I still have. I told my friend who bought 6. Why not, right? 😉 😉
It was an excellent sale, for sure ! I had a couple of Highway 61 1967 Oldsmobile 442 models already, but I got a blue hardtop for one of my brothers. I think I also got another 1/18 replica, but I don't recall which one.
IMO, the wheels/tires on the ‘cuda are worth 5X what you paid.
Here is a Highway 61 1970 Hemi Cuda with the Shaker Hood. These Highway 61 Cuda's are so nice to look at, they did a good job on them.
Here is a 1970 AAR Cuda by Highway 61 as well.
They are great cars and Highway 61 diecast models !
