IXO/Altaya did a nice job on their 1:43 example; great value for the money IMO. Still available too.
Here's the 1/43 Jack mentioned

HA! A short My Take or a My Take short ...either way, I like it. Just a few days ago I commented on how great IXO/Altaya models are.....and the quite prolific too. It seems they've replicated every vehicle from every continent. Really, a terrific bang-for-the-buck.
I knew you added detail to your "Machine" but didn't realize the painted grill was even necessary for authenticity. It makes quite a difference; you did an A+ job! I'd swear it's factory.
@rich-sufficool .... yeah, as I looked at your beautiful handy work I re-checked John's post. Again, you did a perfect job; it looks terrific. I love it when collectors take time to reproduce enhancements that add accuracy. 😎
Ahhh, the '60s and the early '70s! Virtually all of the car brands in the Big 4 had pony and/or muscle cars! It was a glorious time, for sure! AMC, the red-headed stepchild of the Big 4 was not to be ignored as they, too, had their own muscle/pony versions! And glorious they were too! These are very nice examples. The Machine was just too cool!
AMX and Javelin are a bit under rated from what I see / know.
Nothing wrong with either in my book !
They're dayum goodlooking cars and not 'slouches' in the performance department.

@100ford2003 I agree completely! IMO, it's the VERY best AMC AMX Ertl/Autoworld ever did; it just looks "so right!"
I always liked the AMX and Javelin but for some reason never considered shopping for one in '74.
I was focused on a '70-'71 Z-28 or Trans-Am.
I ended up with a '70 T-A.
