(PICS) '87 Citroen BX 19 GTI from Otto Mobile (and more!!!)
Citroen always seems to build quirky but somehow beautiful cars, producing the BX in various versions from 1982 until 1994, and selling almost two and a half million of them

Back in the early '80s, Heather and I were visiting her parents just south of Montreal and I saw one of these large Mont Blanc Citroen BX models used as part of a window display for a travel agency's promotion of trips to Paris. The shop was closed (Sunday) and I hoped to buy their model when the trip promotion was over, but when I visited the next time, the travel agency was gone. It became sort of a Holy Grail, and my brother and I searched in vain for one at every toy show we attended, eventually finding one on Ebay a few years ago

It sure is large & different. I'm a bit surprised that you haven't detailed it up a bit. But of course, just like a 1:1, they're only original once.

Pardon moi, lol, I forgot to say what a great story that is. Sometimes you just have to get a certain model no matter how long it takes.
