Pontiac didn't make a convertible 1969 Grand Prix as far as I know, but in these images taken some years back, I took Ertl's '69 Pontiac Grand Prix and digitally made it into a Photoshopped convertible. Suitably strengthened, I think it could have made a really good-looking top-down car.

Absolutely agree with you 101%. I've always liked the Grand Prix more than the Monte Carlo. You always do some great work thanks for posting those pics.Â
True, I see what you mean. I like the front and rear designs also. It'd be interesting to see if the hardtop design could have been replicated with the soft top.Â
To my eyes the roof line was the feature that made this car so attractive.
Yeah, I love convertibles and although Mike did a great PS job, I'd have to say this GP looks better as a hardtop. Without a top.... it kind of has an Oldsmobile feel to it. 🤔 🤨
