(PICS) Another boring project. My second 1/18 mid-50's car hauler. PART 2 of ?

The work goes on but with the disassembly of the Tonka hauler the much needed metal pieces can now be harvested. The 1st major hurtle has been cleared.... the sides are "up" and anchored to the metal (thank you Tonka) floor.

As with the last hauler, this project gets real big real fast. It pays to keep a neat & tidy work bench.

Thanks for looking.

Chris, what is the black colored material you're using?

Chris, that's....

Coming along nicely!

You are quite good with these projects.

I don't know if I would have the required patience, myself. Smile

I have the imagination, but certainly not the skill.

It's plastic Marlowe. Just like the last hauler project. I prefer to use...........

...the black plastic bases found in HW 61 1/18 cars. You see some Bondo on a few of the sides because I had mistakenly mixed up a batch using my "good plastic." A little sanding made it usable again.

Marlowe, you should have a couple of these I would think.

Jack (thanks but) ...it's really no big deal. Just cutting, measuring and joining together.

Tom, if you can shapes from paper with scissors then you're 1/2 way there!

You're welcome Steve. I've actually eliminated many pics (kind of boring really).
