(PICS) ..how about a 1/12 1956 Continental Mark II in brass! Roger Zimmerman's MASTER piece....
...Since Mike posted some Lincoln pics. Here's an update on Roger's work.
All in brass, hand-formed and machine-turned. Currently, he's forming body panels using a wooden 1/12 body buck, that of course, was also made by him.
He is a true master model maker. The level of detail on this model is astonishing.

What this guy does is in a class by itself.................
He has serious work under his belt and his models are not static or curbside but fully detailed with operating features.
Everything is built from scratch and fully functional. His website about his work is very impressive......no resin or plastic here.

Price of Art
Think I read a few years ago it takes him upwards ten years to complete a model. Been a few years ago that read an article about this master, but think he has been offered upwards of $50,000 for his scale model creations. He does not sell his creations. I know he has been working on his Mark II about 5 years or so. Remember his Mark II wheels alone, took many months to hand craft each wheel.

You would be correct. Roger had to first make the molds, then make the tires.....it took months.
