PICS: My CMC GTO Photos
Here are some photos I just shot of CMC's new GTO. What can I say-- 2800+ parts, including separate metal hangars for the exhaust pipes and every possible hose and wire that you could ever see. I don't know why previously posted pics made the paint looks so pebbly-- it's actually really excellent with a very fine metallic silver pigment. Yes,the upper line of the window molding looks strange when seen from low angles but I'm beginning to think that CMC actually has it right-- check photos on pages 299 and 302 of Pouret's "Ferrari 250GT Competition Cars". Also pages 172 and 173. I've been building model cars for 60+ years and couldn't come close to the detail work and finish in this. And it's kinda nice having a Ferrari in something other than red. Anybody know just what car was used for reference?

Impressive!
That is one very nice model!!
Beautiful!!! I wonder if I could possibly get away with buying one, naming it and...
... claiming it as a child on next year's taxes!
An amazing model !
CMC GTO 3809GT which resides in Germany and was rebuilt after a crash so the bodywork is not totally correct [nose too flat] and the interior is modernised and more of a road car than anything else.
