It would be a concession worth making.........
I'm all for accuracy and realize that race cars are like living things - they change over time - but i'd be willing to live with minor errors in the size of tie rods, an incorrect oil pressure gauge, the wrong color wires etc, etc, under the skin to be able to get the proper bodywork on one of the more historically important cars.

Marshall, would you be interested in making improved gauges for the 300S? I love that car, even did a painting of it as a teenager for my father, and the original gauges are so beautiful, that soft blue with a touch green, stunning. I only collect CMC cars, so I'm fully aware what they are achieving.

Eric, we could make new gauge faces, but.......
the cost would be very high due to our hourly rate, and with current workload could not be dealt with until the end of this year at the earliest.
