Great pics; nice model, Mike. Is that a rumble seat in the back or is it just a trunk?
Thanks, Rich ! It's just a trunk back there and I think rumble seats were falling out of favor compared to a full-size trunk ! That Silver Streak styling could still be seen up to even their 1955 models and as a small kid I remember it on my Grandparents '55 Pontiac.
I have the black one. I always thought this was a fine model of a mid thirties car when few existed.
Yes this is a rather gorgeous model and at a quite reasonable cost, bought mine black one awhile back ,unfortunately came with some paint rash on the driver sides of the hood but was able to sand and refinish it β¦.
lone suggestion for owners of this little black gem is to paint the running boards ,just think they look a bit more realisticβ¦.

@larry-kemling Very true Larry. I painted mine when I received it many years ago.
@larry-kemling Good tip Larry. Mine is in green, but always felt a little cheated when I realized only ONE side of the hood opens. π π π
Was always curious as which side opened as I was afraid of scratching the paint,on mine neither side seemed willing to open lol
@larry-kemling HA! I would've bet money I owned the green version..... once I located it, I laughed. It's black. π πΒ
The hood opens/folds on the left, but the right side of the engine has better detail.Β One day, I'll make a gasser out of one of these and just cut the hood clean off.... I included a 1937 Chevy pic as a gasser reference.
