(PICS) The 1956 -1958 Lotus 11 was a slick, lightweight sports racer.....
with a beautiful body designed by Frank Costin and usually powered by a Coventry Climax 1100cc (or occasionally 1500cc) motor. The car, loaded and ready to race, weighed just a hair under 1000 lbs. There have been a number of replicas offered
by various companies through the ensuing years for club racing.
Both Spark and BoS have made nice 1/18 models of the Lotus 11, the following pics being of the BoS-Models version.

Smooth and slippery.
Have seen pictures of the 1:1 versions many times and really knew not much about them, but certainly loved the shape. Thanks for sharing the images and info.
Front end looks very much like particular Jaguars.
