I love BMW's and really like this car. Just wished they'd calm down a little on that double kidney grille. Looks like the doors to an old western saloon!
But I like the matte white!
"Just wished they'd calm down a little on that double kidney grille."
They are... some of the '27's and beyond, have smaller, less exaggerated grill styling.

Really? So they listened to me. I told them, "Hey listen you BMW guys; that grille is just not Kosher. It's starting to make me nauseous. Do summin' about it."
Actually, the car mags have been harping about it for a couple years now, and it has taken this long for them to address it. Things work slower in Bavaria. The people are great and their sausages are better.
@perrone1 Nobody makes a quick decision in Germany. My take on it is they are afraid to make a mistake, though petrified might be a better word, for criticizing another for a perceived error is almost required. This was another on the list of cautions the US Consulate website offered, before I moved across the pond.
Kind of like: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
If they don't like it, let's hold a conference??
Oh, and tell my German friends over there, to leave the strudel alone - it's perfect.
@perrone1 A little tidbit: you cannot have a hot rod on the road, over here, without going through a hellish process, with no guarantee of success. If any car has any alteration from the factory original specs, it will have to be returned to original spec, before you can license the car (this includes changing tire rims without the approval of the TUV gods. You will actually get a ticket for this.). As you might imagine, this stifles creativity and it is not just automobiles. Homogenization is the keyword, in Germany. Blend, blend, blend.
No hot rods? That, right there, would make me sad! But they make Mercedes car in Stuttgart so maybe it all evens out.
Tony, I noticed what you were saying about the kidney grill on the BMW's. We bought a 2025 BMW X5 in mid-2024 and the grill was the only thing that made me go, Hmmmmm????? It is our second BMW, and we really like that brand.
