Hi all, I'm new to the forum.  My question is is there anywhere on line or otherwise that I can go to get a list/valuation of 1:18 scale cars?

THANKS

Big G

Hi Big G and welcome ! I think many people indicate that going to EBay sales/auctions and looking up the actual sale price that any particular diecast car sold for can be at least a basic indication of what a car may be bringing in the marketplace. It can also be rather subjective and variable depending on certain factors !

Any product is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. If there is a certain diecast that you want and it completes your collection for that type of diecast then you/someone may be willing to pay more than others. Something new in box that is long out of production and it is something that rarely is put up for sale will likely bring higher prices because there will be someone out there who missed that original purchase but wants it for their collection so they will be willing to pay a higher price for it.

@mikedetorrice Thanks Mike for the prompt reply.  A friend of mine has a good sizes collection of ‘60’s & ‘70s MOPAR 1:18 scale cast most with the boxes.  My friend is thinking of selling them but doesn’t know what a reasonable asking price would be.

THANKS
