What a beauty of a model. Too bad the series wasn't expanded.

These are AWESOME models. I bought one yrs ago. There's ONE big mistake that I easily corrected.

(PICS) An easy fix. The wheelcover centers should be red. About 20 minutes is all you'll need.

The horizontal openings under the headlamps need attention.

I once read a debate on whether the insert should be one color or the other. Many cars online show red inserts. Perhaps it is based on the body color of the car? Definitely warrants researching to get the correct answer.

Those parking lights should be amber but I have seen clears before.

Aren't the parking lights in the bumper ?

Well....

looks like you're 100% correct. I never owned a 1957 Chrysler (did own a '57 Dodge) but ALWAYS saw that area below the headlights as "amber."

NOW.... on "HD CLOSE INSPECTION" I see that those 2 areas are actually grills for ?? (air vents? a design feature?) and they seem to be "redish" in color.

Parking lights are, as you noted, in the bumper. It's unbelievable to me that I've been admiring these cars for 30+ years and never noticed this.

Perhaps a 1957 Chrysler 300C expert could chime in and explain further.

GOOD JOB Steve!
