I had a lime green (sorry, can't think of the correct mopar color name) '70 Roadrunner with a 383...
... and automatic transmission. It had solid "B" pillars and flip-out rear side windows. Eventually, I put a pistol-grip 4-speed into it, but sold it not long afterwards for (pretty-much) peanuts.
Man, I miss that car!
WHOA! ... scoot over Chris ... I was here first
So let me get this straight - you had to eat his dust AND see his tailights get smaller as well ?
Yeah, I have to admit, that 440 6-Pack was....."humbling."
Dennis, you were on The Zone hiatus when Chris was posting is model modification work.
You can be quite assured he doesn't need my help at ANYTHING! Chris is the professor and I am his student. That was true then and is still true today.
Case in point, his reproduction and tribute to Chris' late Mom was a 1956 Chevy 150. The work, fabrication, and detail he incorporated in that build was unbelievable! For example, he had a dipstick that could be removed from the engine. And get this, when you extracted the dipstick, it measured REAL OIL he had in the pan! Real oil!!!
Chris attached accurate representation hood hinges. There's a lot more and since it was almost 10 years ago, I don't recall all of what he did. However, it was a tour de force and a testament to his prodigious modeling skills! The man is off the chain!
