"Ohio George" Montgomery's AA/GS "Malco Gasser"
Wow! I just got my "Malco Gasser" from GMP. This was one of the transitional cars that moved the "Gassers" and "Altereds" into "Funny Cars" in the late '60's.
GMP has done a super job of creating this car....... a fiberglass '67 Mustang body mounted on the frame rails of George's highly successful '33 Willys Gasser. Powered by a blown 427" SOHC Ford engine, this was one badass machine and the model does a great job of replicating it.
You might decide this is your ultimate Christmas present!
See the review in "Lists & Reviews" under GMP - 1:18 Vintage Dragsters - Malco Gasser.
Great model. Wait 'til you see the Mr. Gasket version - twin turbo'd Boss 429 under the tilt-up hood and an incredible candy metal flake paint job. These are two-fers.
Got it as a late birthday present. One fantastic model.Incredable detail.
Great review Bill. GMP did ..................
an incredible job of detailing this image. I have my copy prominently displayed with my other drag racers.
Nice job, Bill
I got to see one at a diecast show. GMP's doing some great stuff these days, especially with an eye towards historically significant racing mods.
