Hi Gavin,
I love it ! How would you rate it ? Is it resin or diecast ?Â
I love it, being a fan of Miami Vice & the Daytona in general. This one is diecast, but sealed & made by KK-Scale. They have a number of great color combos & some with the 5-spoke Cromodora wheels. It replaced an old Hot Wheels version, which was ok for a 20 year old model, but this one is much better.
Here's a full thread with detail pics & comparisons to that HW Spyder & the Kyosho Coupe https://diecast.org/community/1_18/kk-scale-ferrari-365gts-4-daytona-spyder/
@gavin Miami Vice Crockett and Tubbs. The Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder used in the series was not a real Ferrari, it was a knock off built on a Corvette frame, I think they had two of them but I could be wrong on that, I know the maintenance to keep the car running was high. Ferrari sued the company making the knock offs and they made a deal with the Miami Vice show to use a Ferrari Testarossa for free. The show also built two knock off Testarossa's to use for stunts using De Tomaso Pantera chassis, you can tell when they are using the De Tomaso Pantera knock off cars when they do the stunts with the Ferrari Testarossa. If you look at the rear tires/rims the Ferrari has a positive offset and the rims are not deep dish while the De Tomaso Pantera/Testarossa's the rear rims are clearly negative offset very deep dish like a Pantera uses.Â

correct, as I'm sure most car guys know. I'm just glad KK made their model of the real Spider vs the replica.
Thank-you Gavin and John for your replies and more info. The $ for that Ferrari isn't bad. I'm giving it some thought here but that Porsche sure looks good too !Â
