Here is a 1/18 Norev Mercedes Sprinter that retails between $250-$500. I've seen some as high as $750... and the hood doesn't even open. Crazy!
But my gripe is with the paint! Are we going backward with regard to paint application & color-matching? I've seen these obvious hue variations on NEW 1:1 vehicles too. I realize these panels are painted separately but THIS is the best they can do? Really?

From the reviews I've read about this 'pos' vehicle....it is a 'pos'.
One wonders if Mercedes-Benz would allow such a paint job out of their doors. Regarding price, I always say in my industry, 'we charge for the items we don't sell, not the ones we do'. That is, the smaller the demand, the higher the price - but that price has to be reflected in the quality.
@charles-rockett Yep, makes sense. And of course you're right, MB would never tolerate paint application this abdominal, but FoMoCo would. And I'm not bashing Ford (I buy only American....I'vehad them all!!! ) I've seen it, from new Fords to Lincolns...bumper paint simply does NOT match; the hue is slightly off. Noticeable to even a casual observer, such as, my wife.
