Remember the Good Old Days.... like 2009?

...came across this from 2009.  Note the clearance price on that 1/18 1959 Cadillac (I remember seeing these on eBay for $49 ) and the 1/18 4-door HW61 Kaiser Dragon sedans - that were never produced.  😔 😔

I remember that the first Brooklin models I bought were around 22 pounds sterling.

@ed-davis I think it was in the 1980s.  I remember the price jumped to around 28 pounds, then up around 40 fairly quickly after that as their popularity really took off.  I began collecting Brooklins and Durham Classics in earnest around 1990 so it was well before that year.

I remember those exceptionally nice diecast vehicles ! I have the 1959 PM Cadillac limo and the Signature 1933 Pierce-Arrow replica, and both are all-time favorites. I have several H61 Manhattans and had pre-ordered the 1/18 1953 Dragon but complications prevented it's production and release.
