Looks like Shelby Collectibles will release a "GT40 4.9L V8 Gulf Street Outlaw N 6 Winner Takes All 1966" later this year. Now that they will have a GT40 with Gulf colors, perhaps we can hope for a '68 and/or '69 Le Mans winner from them?

Reminds me of the Creative Masters I have in 1:20th scale. Winner of LeMans 1969. Hand signed by both winning drivers, Jackie Oliver & Jacky Ickx - LE 250.

I read Paul's post and thought, "Wait a minute, I've seen this before in 1/18, haven't I?" But NO, not in 1/18, but in 1/20 from Revell's ill-faded Creative Master's series of about 8 vehicles. Bad timing as these appeared right on the heels of the 1/18 boom! 🙄 😯

How cool to have a signed version, Tony. And yes, Chris, that's why I didn't get the Creative Masters. I hope the Shelby Collectible, if it comes, will be as nice.

It won't.... SCs are nice but a tad below what the CMs are. It's still a nice model though; I doubt you'll be disappointed. 😀 😉

I had the Jouf Ford GT-40. Once I saw the Shelby Collectables, I sold the Joufs and now have 5 of the SC GT-40.
