I finally acquired a CMC Testa Rossa to replace my old 1:17 scale Burago. That old one is coming out of my display cabinet and being stuck in a closet never to be seen again! Â

Nice upgrade, Marty! I wish there was some option between the Bburago (which I still have) & the CMC.

Years ago, in one of my model magazines, there was an in-depth "how to" article about super-detailing this Burago Testa Rossa. The results were amazing but compared to your NEWLY-ACQUIRED-HIDE-FROM-THE-WIFE-WHILE-SHE'S-AWAY CMC, it still would belong in a closet! LoL 😀  Congrats on this Marty! It's a masterpiece!!

This was a model that I had to buy - I did the modifications required to make it an 'as raced' model.
