The 1998 McLaren F1 GTR Long Tail of Gulf Team Davidoff Le Mans entry did forgo the classic Gulf livery for this all black beauty with heavy sponorship by Loctite. It was powered by a 600 HO 6.2 liter BMW V12 which, in street form was capable of 240 mph, but was detuned for Le Mans in compliance with their regulations. I think Batman would have loved this beast only having to add a pair of machine guns and rocket launchers. The finish on this UT model is spectacular.

A very good model of a just sinister looking car - It does seem to sit a little high for a Le Mans runner but that could be remedied with a bit of work - A bit modern for my collection but I must admit to being tempted.

I have a Maisto McLaren F1, bone-stock road car.  As Frank pointed out, the ride height was a bit too great, so I lowered it.  If memory serves, I complete removed the springs.
