The ONLY Batmobile I ever had was a really nice Corgi version. Of course, I was a kid and lost it in just one day. ๐Ÿ˜ฃย

But I recall how excited MANY of you were years ago when Hot Wheels released a 1/18 Batmobile in several detail-variations (and price-points ).ย

I do NOT hear, however, anything about Jada's 1/18 Batmobile, complete with lights and sound and figures....all for about $55.00!ย  "Holy Hot Dog Batman!"ย  ย I don't think there's posable steering (easy fixย  ๐Ÿ˜) but to me, it still seems like a bargain....although I have zero interest.

What do you "Bat Lovers"ย  think?ย  Is the Jada a good Batmobile?

Bat Jada 3

It's a classic TV Batmobile, so they all look great, Corgi, Mattel, Jada, etc, just at different prices/details/scales. The neat Ford Futura turned into the best-known Batmobile by George Barris !

It looks very good.ย  I do wonder if it is in fact 1:18...lots of Jadas are off-scale.

The few Jada's I have are in 1/18 scale but I know some others are not. Good question, I do not have the answer....ย  ๐Ÿ˜” ๐Ÿ˜”ย

I do recall that many were disappointed to discover that the Hot Wheelsย  Batmobile was in fact, slightly smaller than 1/18 scale, more like 1/19-1/20. It does look like Jada's rims are too large (too modern ) but even without posable steering, for $55.00 (w/2 figures, sound & lights ) it seems like a deal.

@chrisย If Jada copied the molds and tooling from Mattel, then it's 1/19. I'd like to see side by side pics between the two. I suspect considering the low price point, they probably saved a boatload of money copying Mattel. Does the Jada have licensing info somewhere on the model or box art?

Well Rich, this JADA appears to be "ALL JADA."ย  The figures are diecast (not plastic) the box (packaging) is first rate but upon close inspection, the model's tooling reveals "shortcuts." Can't confirm the scale accuracy, but it too appears a bit smaller than 1/18.

@chrisย The Mattel didn't come with figures - they're mine. I'll say that if the Jada turns out to be 1/19, I'd bet that there was proprietary theft there. Is there any licensing info on the Jada? Also, if you have the 1/18 Futura, you'll know immediately.
