Started out in the Vw world and man did I own a lot of them. Being young and in college well funds were shy lol. Could always count on grabbing a Vw for pennies on the dollar. Even now I prefer old school simplicity vs, well where they are today.
On that note placed an order for this, well because it has purple in it hahahaha..

Nice, I’m still waiting for a model of my ‘78 Champagne Edition Scirocco. I had it for 8yrs and loved it.

...you got me on this one. I was unaware that Norev made a purple version of their Golf GTI. Norev quality/fidelity is a few cuts above average; you should NOT be disappointed. Congrats!

My favorite VW diecast is my Revell Scirocco. I got it cheap but when I went back to get the red one, they were sold out.

@grockwood I saw those also, maybe not the same company. But I'll wait and see the condition of this one before pursuing other brands.😁
