[Closed] Sorry guys, but the resin model prices are outrageous and not worth the big bucks. Just my opinion.

Then add in licensing fee's to the car manufacturer, and that $XXXX amount is also only spread out over 1,000 cars. It simply all adds up, and so few cars are made.

I'm in the same boat, Bruce. I originally started collecting...

... diecast cars because of the features. I used to collect plastic model kits, but abandoned them when I discovered diecast because they offered features that I couldn't get on plastic models.

Although diecast models (the really nice ones, anyway) are beginning to be priced more and more outside of my "ever be able to buy" range, I don't think I would be tempted to go back to plastic kits because I've been spoiled to the point that I just want more than they offer.

Although some of the resin models are quite beautiful, I don't think I'll ever be tempted to collect them either, for the same reason.

There may be one exception, though; I've been watching the new Lincoln Futura concept (can't remember the brand) a lot lately and I find myself VERY tempted to get that one. However, the cost is still higher than I can manage right now.
